π§ͺ Terps: 1.94%

π Appearance
Neon Mango has a firm density and a cure that immediately felt dialed in. The nugs retained enough internal moisture to break apart cleanly through my Flower Mill while the stems still gave a satisfying snap. Bright neon green carries most of the flower, with deeper purple working through portions of the calyxes and orange pistils wrapping across the buds. The resin becomes especially impressive through the microscope. Gland heads crowd the calyx surfaces, extend along the smaller leaf edges, and remain easy to distinguish across the purple and green sections of the flower. It is a dense field of intact heads rather than a light exterior frost of from being poorly handled. Between the firm structure, proper moisture, clean breakup, and preserved resin, this batch met the cure standard I expect when opening premium flower from Cookies.
π Aroma
Neon Mango is extremely aromatic, and the fruit announces itself immediately. Candy-sweet mango and blueberry hit first with a mouth-watering intensity that makes the name feel appropriate before the flower is ever consumed. Beneath that bright fruit is a softer smoothie-like creaminess that gives the aroma more weight and keeps the sweetness from feeling like simple candy. Mango remains the clearest fruit association for me, but the blueberry is distinct enough to share the space rather than disappearing behind it. The creamy side pulls everything toward a dessert character and gives the nose an unusually rich quality. This was one of the moments during the review where I wanted to keep returning to the flower simply to smell it again.
π
Flavor
The inhale was extremely smooth, with fruit and sweetness greeting me first. Mango carries that opening while the broader candy sweetness spreads across the tongue. The exhale is where Neon Mango really separates itself. A creamy blueberry-cheesecake character becomes much clearer, bringing together blueberry, soft dairy-like creaminess, and a richer dessert quality before sweetness returns again through the finish. The flavor lays broadly across the tongue like a true dessert rather than appearing as a quick fruit accent and disappearing. That full-palate coverage allows the mango, blueberry, cream, and sweetness to remain recognizable together without forcing them into a rigid sequence. The final sweetness leaves the palate on a similar note to where the experience began, but the creamy blueberry character in between gives the flavor considerably more dimension. This was easily one of the most enjoyable parts of Neon Mango for me.
π§ Effects
The first noticeable physical change was some light relief through my shoulders. From there, the effects crept in rather than arriving all at once. The early stage felt relatively easy, but the weight continued building until the experience became noticeably heavier than that first impression suggested. That gradual increase is the part I would pay the most attention to with Neon Mango. It does not need an explosive onset to make its presence known; the effects accumulate and become more substantial as they settle in. For me, the progression from lighter physical ease into a heavier overall experience matched the cultivar well and gave the effects their own identity separate from the sweetness and brightness of the flavor.
β
Overall
The story behind Neon Mango matters because this flower shows exactly why pheno hunting can be worth the effort. Seeds were gifted to Shauncron for βThe Meltdown,β a pheno-hunt competition organized by Pure Melt Seed Co. that was ultimately canceled. Shauncron still popped the seeds and found multiple keepers from the run, including Neon Lemon, Neon Mango, Spray Pack, and Mangolorian. Neon Mango makes that selection history tangible. The cultivar carries Neonz (OGZ Γ Z41) Γ Lemon Cane genetics, but what stayed with me was its own unmistakable combination of candy mango, blueberry, smoothie creaminess, and a blueberry-cheesecake exhale laid across a remarkably dessert-like palate. The flower itself backed that flavor with a firm cure, proper moisture, and a dense field of preserved trichomes, while the effects slowly gathered weight after beginning with light shoulder relief. The COA documents 21.6% THC, 0.06% CBD, and 1.94% total terpenes. More importantly for the Registry, Neon Mango preserves one of the distinct keepers that came out of an unusual hunt and gives us a cultivar worth following as future batches appear. This is a genuinely memorable addition from Shauncron and one of the more distinctive recent additions I have experienced from Cookies Florida.
